Bridgepoint Development Capital (“BDC”) has completed the sale of Solhagagruppen, a leading provider of specialist care services to the high acuity autism and related diagnoses segments, to Ambea, a leading provider of elderly care and disabled care services. As a result of the transaction, Solhaga’s operations will merge with Nytida, the business division within Ambea that focuses on disabled care.
Bridgepoint Development Capital (“BDC”) has completed the sale of its majority stake in Unifaun Group, formerly known as Memnon Networks (the “Company”) to funds managed by Vitruvian Partners. Management and key employees will remain significant minority shareholders in the new ownership structure. The new ownership will enable Unifaun to continue to invest in its people, processes and industry-leading technology and leverage its market leading position in a large and growing market.
Smyk, the leading retailer of children’s apparel, toys and accessories in Poland, has been acquired by Bridgepoint from Empik Media & Fashion, a Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed retail group, in a transaction totalling €247 million.
Anaveo, a French provider of electronic security solutions to small and medium sized businesses, has been acquired by Bridgepoint Development Capital from its majority shareholder (M. Paul Surand) and minority financial investors (CM CIC, Garibaldi Participations and Viveris), for an undisclosed sum. Bpifrance and Paluel Marmont Capital partnered with BDC in the equity financing of the transaction.
Element Materials Technology, the global leader in materials and product qualification testing in the aerospace, oil & gas and transportation markets, has been acquired by Bridgepoint from 3i Group for an undisclosed sum.
