Tyler Reeder

ECP President/ECP Managing Partner

Tyler is the President and Managing Partner of ECP and involved in all areas of the Firm’s investment activities, with a particular emphasis on power generation and environmental infrastructure. He is Chair of ECP's Management Comittee and a member of ECP's Investment, Valuation, Risk, and ESG Committees as well as Bridgepoint’s Group Management Committee.

Tyler led the take-private acquisition of Calpine Corporation and currently serves on the boards of Calpine Corporation, Liberty Tire, Gopher Resource and Restaurant Technologie. 

Prior to joining ECP in 2006, Tyler served in operating and management roles with two power generation companies Texas Genco, LLC and Orion Power Holdings, Inc., and from 1996 to 1998, worked at Goldman Sachs.

Tyler received a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.
