Established in 1952, Cambridge Education Group (CEG) is a leading player in the international schools market, providing high school and pre-university education to more than 4,000 students recruited from over 80 countries via its global marketing network.

The company has enjoyed substantial growth, thanks to its strong academic track record and driven by significant demand for Western education from emerging markets. It operates from both its own schools and from ‘Foundation on Campus’ colleges based within 20 universities in the UK, US and The Netherlands. It provides high school and pre-university teaching for students wishing to gain access to the university system in Europe and the US.

In July 2019, CEG sold its CATS Colleges high schools division to Bright Scholar, the largest operator of international and billingual schools in China, in a transaction totalling £150 million.
